TPC-W Transactions
The workload is centered around the activity of browsing and processing orders. The TPC-W workload is comprised of 5 different transactions, including:
- 1) Browse: This transaction is the backbone of the workload. It is designed to place a variable load on the system to reflect on-line activity as typically found in production Internet commerce web. This transaction consists of reviewing a random sequence of pages sent from the web server and is intended to represent typical browsing behavior, including chaotic selection, early selection and abandoned requests.
